Design Guru David Masenheimer, NY Caterer Peter Callahan to create ambiance and menu at ‘Hamptons Live’ Benefit ft. Fifth Harmony

NEW YORK, August 23, 2016  – VH1 Save The Music Foundation makes a hot return to the Hamptons for the third annual HAMPTONS LIVE benefit  with the help of designer David Masenheimer of Ramparts Productions and caterer Peter Callahan of Peter Callahan Catering. Presented by Bai Beverages, the evening of entertainment will be headlined by the triple platinum, all-female pop group Fifth Harmony and feature a special deejay set from world renowned DJ Cassidy. Tickets are now available for the event, which will be held at a private residence on Saturday, August 27th.

David Masenheimer, who starred in many Broadway productions, including Les Miserables, is excited to bring his talents as a designer and carpenter to Hamptons Live.

“We are embracing the opportunity to host such a fun event out in nature, finding inspiration in the laid-back, outdoor setting. Our goal is for the overall design of Hamptons Live to take every advantage of the extraordinary location, the beauty of the native flowers, the rolling landscape and the starry summer sky,”

Said David Masenheimer, who has previously designed high-profile events for Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, CMT and more. “We are bringing in stylish furniture from INNIT DESIGNS and DOT & BO to totally transform the property of a VH1 Save The Music Foundation Board Member – creating a ‘coastal cool’ atmosphere for a cool coastal party.”

Meanwhile, Peter Callahan, iconic owner and Creative Director of New York City-based Peter Callahan Catering and author best-selling cookbook “BITE by BITE: 100 Stylish Little Plates You Can Make
for Any Party,” will be creating an interactive food experience forparty-goers.

 

“This year, we want to create a really tasty, yet visual summer menu,” said Peter Callahan.

“We are bringing in dramatic heirloom tomato trees and sourcing seasonal fruits and ingredients from local Hampton vendors including Latham Farms, Satur Farms and Flora Farms, which will complement the evening’s festive and ‘breezy-baja’ concert vibes. We are also collaborating with Bai Beverages to concoct a specialty cocktail sangria that will be a delicious treat for guests!”

 

Callahan, who is credited with creating the mega trend of miniaturized hors d’oeuvres, has more than twenty-five years’ experience creating events for clients including President Barack Obama, Martha Stewart, Vera Wang, Kate Spade, JP Morgan, Tory Burch, Valentino, Regis and Joy Philbin, Tony Bennett, Kelly Ripa, Google, and Al Gore, among others.
